Competitive flexible procedure
The Procurement Act 2023 procedure that lets buyers design their own competition to suit the contract.
Introduced by the Procurement Act 2023, the competitive flexible procedure gives buyers freedom to shape stages, dialogue and negotiation around what they're buying, within the rules.
For suppliers it means reading each tender carefully — the process can differ from one procurement to the next, so don't assume a standard shape.
