UK procurement thresholds

The contract values above which the full public procurement rules apply.

Thresholds are set values (which differ for works, supplies and services, and by type of authority) that determine whether a contract must follow the full Procurement Act procedures or sits 'below threshold' with more flexibility.

Both above- and below-threshold opportunities are advertised, but in different places and under different rules — which is why suppliers miss work if they only watch one channel.
