PPN 06/20
The Procurement Policy Note that requires social value to be explicitly evaluated in relevant central government procurements.
PPN 06/20 made social value a scored, weighted part of relevant central government procurements — typically a minimum of around 10% of the marks — rather than something merely 'considered'.
Much of the wider public sector follows the same approach, so a credible, evidenced social value response is now a standard requirement, not an optional extra.
