The process

Invitation to Tender (ITT)

The formal document inviting suppliers to submit a priced, detailed bid for a contract.

An ITT sets out the requirement, the contract terms, what you must submit, and how bids will be scored. It's the core document you respond to in an open or later-stage procurement.

Reading the ITT closely — especially the scoring criteria and weightings — is what separates winning bids from also-rans. Answer the questions exactly as asked and map your evidence to the marks.
