Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS)
An electronic, open-to-join list of approved suppliers used for repeat purchases, largely superseded by dynamic markets.
A DPS works like an electronic framework that suppliers can join at any time after meeting the selection criteria. Buyers then run competitions among the suppliers on the system.
Under the Procurement Act 2023, dynamic markets are the successor concept, but you'll still see DPS arrangements running and referenced.
