What are the current UK procurement thresholds?
Thresholds determine whether a contract follows the full Procurement Act procedures or sits below threshold with more flexibility. They're set separately for works, supplies and services, and vary by type of authority.
Both above- and below-threshold opportunities are advertised — central government must advertise contracts above £12,000 and sub-central bodies above £30,000 — so it pays to track both.
